Chiyuki Fujito (藤戸千雪 Fujito Chiyuki?) is one of the two protagonists of the Smile Down the Runway manga (ランウェイで笑って Runway de Waratte?) and anime. She is the daughter of Kenji Fujito, a high school student and a fashion model for "Mille Neige" (Kenji's company).
Appearance[]
Chiyuki is a rather short girl with hip-length blonde hair. She has bangs swept to the side and blue eyes.
Personality[]
Chiyuki is a passionate girl who has an unshakable belief in her dreams and thinks that no one should ever give up on their dreams even if they seem impossible. She believes saying what one wishes out loud helps it become true. She is also stubborn and has no quarrels to speak her mind, which occasionally may make her seem blunt. According to Ikuto Tsumura, she has a "boyish personality." Chiyuki aims to become a supermodel or a "hypermodel". A "hypermodel" is a model that models for Mille Neige and will model for fashion shows in Paris. Chiyuki has wanted to be a runway model since she was a child.
Chiyuki was tall for her age when she was younger but eventually stopped growing at the age of 10. Everyone was disappointed in her height because everybody thought that she would be the face ofMille Neige. Her extreme passion for modeling ultimately caused her to get fired by her father. Later on in her career, she experiences major setbacks due to her height and was insecure about it. Many people treated her with disrespect because of her height and have been rejected for jobs multiple times. Eventually, she becomes content with her height and rocks it with confidence.
Career[]
Chiyuki has had an unsuccessful modeling career. She has gotten rejected by Mille Neige multiple times after she had gotten fired by her father. Once she finally got signed with Millie Neige she had gotten a couple of jobs as an extra model. Chiyuki has even gotten kicked out of photoshoots. Eventually, she gets a job offer from Ikuto, but later changes to help Kokoro in her fashion show. After her performance at the fashion show at Geika she gets an offer to become an exclusive model for a magazine run by one of the judges.
